Getting started with your Spoof 2-in-1 Push Car Buggy

Welcome, and congratulations on your new Spoof 2-in-1 Push Car Buggy. Designed to grow with developing riders, the Spoof can be used in parent-push mode for guided outings or converted to foot-to-floor mode for independent play. This guide walks you through preparing, adjusting, converting, and safely using the buggy.

Things you need to know

Preparation

• Read the complete assembly instructions and all safety warnings included with the buggy before beginning assembly or use.
• Adult assembly, adjustment, conversion, and supervision are required.
• Remove all packaging materials before beginning assembly.
• Confirm that all required parts and hardware are present before assembling the buggy.
• Place the parts on a clean, level surface to prevent components or hardware from becoming lost.
• Confirm the rider is between 18 months and 5 years old and does not exceed the 65 lb weight limit.
• Choose a smooth, level indoor or outdoor surface away from roadways, motor vehicles, stairs, steep slopes, swimming pools, and other bodies of water.
• Allow only one child in the buggy at a time.

Getting the buggy ready

1. Complete the adult assembly. Assemble the buggy only as shown in the instructions supplied with the product. Make sure each wheel, axle component, body panel, roof component, steering-wheel component, seat-belt component, floorboard, and push-bar component is installed in the correct position.
   Important:

   Do not substitute hardware, alter components, or use the buggy while assembly is incomplete.

2. Inspect the completed assembly. Check that all four wheels are properly installed and rotate freely. Confirm that the roof, steering wheel, floorboard, seat belt, push bar, storage covers, and all other components are securely attached.
   Safety:

   Do not use the buggy if any component is loose, incorrectly positioned, damaged, or missing.

3. Choose the correct operating mode. Use parent-push mode for younger children who need an adult to control the buggy. Use foot-to-floor mode only when the child has developed the balance, coordination, strength, and awareness needed to move and stop the buggy independently.
   Important:

   Age alone does not determine readiness for foot-to-floor mode. An adult must evaluate the individual child’s abilities and continue providing close supervision.

4. Set up parent-push mode. Install the floorboard so the child’s feet remain inside the buggy. Insert the parent push bar into its mounting point until it clicks securely into place. Pull upward on the bar to confirm that it is locked before placing the child in the seat.
   Warning:

   Never push the buggy unless the push bar and floorboard are fully installed and secure.

5. Adjust the parent push-bar height. Use the push bar’s available height positions to select a comfortable level for the parent or caregiver. Make sure the adjustment mechanism locks fully into the selected position.
   Safety:

   Do not adjust the push bar while the buggy is moving. Stop on a level surface and keep the buggy steady during adjustment.

6. Secure the child. Help the child sit fully back in the tall seat. Position and fasten the adjustable safety seat belt so it is secure and comfortable. Confirm that the child’s arms, legs, clothing, and footwear are clear of the wheels and other moving parts.
   Warning:

   Always use the safety seat belt. Never leave a child unattended in or around the buggy.

7. Complete a safety check. Confirm that the seat belt is fastened, the child is seated properly, the floorboard and push bar are secure, and the pathway is smooth and clear. Check that no loose objects can fall from the storage areas while the buggy is moving.
   Safety:

   Do not use the buggy near stairs, drop-offs, hills, traffic, water, or any surface where it could roll away or tip.

8. Begin pushing the buggy. Hold the parent push bar securely with both hands and begin moving at a slow walking pace. The front wheels rotate 360 degrees to help the caregiver guide the buggy in different directions.
   Warning:

   Walk with the buggy. Do not run, tow it, attach it to another vehicle, or push it at excessive speed.

Converting to foot-to-floor mode

1. Stop and remove the child. Place the buggy on a smooth, level surface and remove the child before changing modes.
2. Remove the parent push bar. Release the push bar from its mounting point and lift it out of the buggy. Store the bar and any associated components in a safe location where they will not become damaged or create a tripping hazard.
3. Remove the floorboard. Release and remove the floorboard so the child can reach the ground with both feet.
   Important:

   Keep the floorboard for future use. Reinstall it whenever the buggy is returned to parent-push mode.

4. Recheck the buggy. Confirm that the wheels rotate freely and that the seat belt, body, roof, steering wheel, and all remaining components are secure. Make sure no removed component or loose hardware remains in the rider area.
5. Help the child get seated. Seat the child fully in the buggy and fasten the adjustable safety seat belt. Confirm that both feet can comfortably contact the ground through the open floor area.
6. Begin foot-to-floor play. Have the child push against the ground with their feet to move forward or backward. The 360-degree front-wheel rotation allows the buggy to move and turn in different directions.
   Safety:

   Begin indoors or in a small, open area on a smooth, level surface. Stay close enough to stop or redirect the buggy immediately.

Using the play and storage features

Toy steering wheel and horn

The steering wheel is intended for pretend play and does not control the buggy’s direction. Press the center squeaker horn to make a sound.

Front-hood storage

Use the front-hood compartment for small toys or lightweight treasures. Close the compartment securely before moving the buggy.

Rooftop storage tray

The rooftop tray provides a convenient place for small caregiver items such as keys or a phone. Remove all items before lifting, converting, cleaning, or storing the buggy.

Cleaning and storage

Wipe the buggy with a soft, damp cloth and allow it to dry completely. The durable materials and multiple drain holes help make routine cleanup easier after indoor or outdoor play.

Do not immerse the buggy or use abrasive cleaners, harsh chemicals, solvents, pressure washers, or excessive water. Check that all drain holes remain clear.

Store the buggy indoors in a clean, dry location away from direct sunlight, excessive heat, moisture, and freezing conditions. Keep the floorboard, push bar, and any removed parts together so the buggy can be converted safely in the future.

Quick troubleshooting

If the push bar will not insert: Confirm that it is aligned with the correct mounting point and that no packaging material or debris is blocking the opening. Do not force the bar or modify the mounting point.

If the push bar feels loose: Stop using the buggy and remove the child. Reinsert the push bar until it clicks securely into place, then pull upward to test it. Do not use parent-push mode if the bar remains loose.

If the push-bar height will not adjust: Stop the buggy and remove the child. Check that the adjustment mechanism is fully released before moving the bar. Align it with an available height position and confirm that it locks securely.

If the floorboard will not fit securely: Remove the child and inspect the floorboard and mounting area for incorrect alignment, debris, or visible damage. Reinstall it only as shown in the product instructions. Do not use parent-push mode until the floorboard is secure.

If a wheel does not rotate freely: Stop using the buggy and remove the child. Check for visible debris around the wheel and axle. Remove only debris that can be cleared safely without disassembly. Do not use the buggy if the wheel remains restricted, loose, or misaligned.

If the buggy does not travel straight in parent-push mode: Move to a smooth, level surface and check that all wheels rotate freely. Remember that the front wheels rotate 360 degrees and can swivel as the caregiver changes direction.

If the toy steering wheel does not steer the buggy: This is normal. The steering wheel is a non-functional pretend-play feature. The caregiver directs the buggy with the push bar in parent-push mode, while the rotating front wheels support movement in foot-to-floor mode.

If the seat belt will not fasten or remain secure: Stop using the buggy. Check that the belt is not twisted and that no debris is blocking the buckle. Do not use the buggy until the seat belt fastens and adjusts securely.

If water remains after cleaning or outdoor use: Place the empty buggy on a level surface, open its storage areas, and allow water to drain through the available drain holes. Check that the holes are clear and allow the buggy to dry completely before storage.
