It’s easy to look on the bright side whenever you’re riding a Jetson scooter with built-in LED lights. Here’s a rundown of how to get those lights lit.
Scooters with motion-activated wheel lights
Glow with the flow? Yes, please. Our most straightforward LED-lit scoots have motion-activated lights built right into their wheels. These scooters take care of all the illumination work themselves: All you have to do to get those wheels glowing is get out there and ride. These scooters include the:
- Gleam
- Leo
- Triton
- Spot
- Stixit
- Twin
- And some of our older models, including the Solo, Pixel, and Mist
Scooters with motion-activated wheel lights—plus!
Some Jetson scooters have those motion-activated wheel lights AND other LEDs that you can turn on and off as you please. Sometimes that illumination is up and down the stem (which is a cool vertical vibe); other times it's on the deck (to make for an ultra-impressive illumination of the sidewalk and any cool sneakers the rider might have on)—and sometimes it's on both. These models include:
- Lumi - Lights on the deck; power button on the underside of the deck
- Nova - Lights on the stem; power button in the center of the handlebar
- Saturn - Lights on the deck and lights on the stem; power buttons for each set
High-style light-up scooters
On the LED front, Jetson mega-dazzlers have decks and handlebar stems that don’t just light up: They light up in various patterns of flashes and colors—anywhere from seven to 20 patterns, depending on the model.
For those with multiple lighting patterns, you can cycle through the options by consecutively quick-pressing your scooter’s lighting power button. When you’ve found the one that feels perfectly in style for the moment, just stop pressing: Your lights will remain in that mode until you click to change things up again. With the exception of the Helix, these all have motion-activated wheel lights, too. (Let there be light—lots of it!)
